Why the practice began

Module Forgehub grew from a recurring conversation in Berlin: capable newcomers had spent months polishing documents without deciding which roles, regions, and employers genuinely fitted their experience. Founder Mara Klein began offering structured pre-move sessions so those decisions happened before a lease, notice period, or one-way ticket created pressure.

Mara has worked in international recruitment and career transition since 2015, including in-house hiring for German manufacturing and business-services employers. She holds a recognised systemic coaching qualification. Her experience informs the questions she asks; it does not give her control over recruitment or immigration outcomes.

How we work

We start with context: professional evidence, German language level, family constraints, recognition requirements, target region, and timing. Advice is written down and tied to current vacancies wherever possible. We will challenge a target that is too broad, but we will not push a client toward a city, salary, or employer that conflicts with their priorities.

Our values are candour, careful preparation, privacy, and respect for the client’s own judgment. We refer legal immigration questions to qualified counsel and regulated professions to the relevant recognition bodies.

A Berlin base, an international conversation

Sessions take place in English by video, allowing clients to prepare from their current country. In-person meetings at our Köpenicker Straße office are limited and arranged in advance. The practice stays deliberately small so the person reviewing your materials is also the person leading your calls.
